Privacy & data

A plain-English overview of what this site collects and why. Last updated 12 July 2026.

The short version

This is my personal site. I don't sell your data, I don't run advertising trackers, and I don't share your details with ad networks. The only data I collect is what I need to run the newsletter, answer enquiries, and understand — anonymously — which pages people find useful.

Analytics (opt-in)

With your consent, I measure visits using my own first-party analytics — no Google Analytics, no third parties. It records anonymous, aggregate things like which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from (the referring site, and a coarse country from the network — never your IP address), and device type. A random, anonymous id is kept in your browser's local storage to count returning visits. There is no personal data and nothing that identifies you.

Analytics stays off until you allow itin the cookie banner, and declining is as easy as accepting. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and you'll be asked again.

Newsletter

If you sign up, your name and email are stored with my email provider (Resend) purely to send you the newsletter. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and I never pass your address to anyone else.

Enquiries

When you send a partnership or booking enquiry, the details you type are used only to reply to you and discuss working together. They aren't added to the newsletter or used for anything else.

Your choices

You can withdraw analytics consent, unsubscribe from the newsletter, or ask me what I hold and to delete it — at any time. Just reach out through the contact form on the site.
